The beauty of Montreux through every season never fails to amaze me and to inspire me. The promenade with the backdrop of the lake and mountains is truly beautiful through every season: the multitude of colours in Spring and Summer, the golden colours of Autumn and the snow topped mountains in Winter. It goes without saying that the gardeners of Montreux deserve much credit to their caring of the lakeside promenade in Montreux
Walking along the promenade in Clarens in Spring is such a delight. These two trees are especially beautiful as they are entwined with one another with shades of pink against the blue-grey lake.
Painted on the spot.
The snow on the Grammont is melting, the flowers are beginning to blossom and people are sitting outdoors by the lakeside.
Victoria Menezes Miller was born in Nairobi, Kenya, a country which has a special place in her heart. The people, places and wild life of Africa always play a prominent part in her art work bringing back nostalgic memories of her birth place.

Oil painting. Based on a safari in Uganda on a trip to visit the Murchison falls. The storm reminded me of many visits to the game parks in Kenya.
Oil painting, done in Varca, Goa. Memories of Kenya always follow me.
The ancestral home of Victoria Menezes Miller is the island of Divar, Goa. Her fascination for the beauty of Goa and the people of India is portrayed in her paintings by the colours, the warmth, the natural beauty of the country and its people which continuously intrigue her.
On the way to visit my Grandfather's grave at Sao Mathias Church, Malar (Divar), this bright red house captured my attention and artistic eye.
The Goltim Navelim Panchayat, Divar - This beautiful house caught my eye. The house is so delicate and breathes history as you step into the compound.
A walk through Vaxim, we came across this lovely yellow house with a beautiful Christmas star hanging in the balcony.
The old ferry which carries passengers between Old Goa and Divar. The turquoise blue color and the Christmas star caught my eye.
My first time in Goa during the Monsoons. They say it’s romantic and it is. Pitter patter the whole day, changing clouds, bright green fields…
Digital art is a recent style artist Victoria Menezes Miller has adopted. Her love for colours, and the flexibility that digital art allows, expands her horizon for art work beyond the paper or canvas medium.

Mountains fascinate me and the mountains in Switzerland are particularly beautiful . The colors reflecting on the blue lakes, the greys of summer storms in the mountains, or those foggy days with clouds touching the snow tops are all amazing scenes which I have tried to capture.

In this pose, my mother is seated in her arm chair, enjoying the moments of listening to and watching my husband, Mark Miller, play the trumpet for her.
Mark’s passion is playing the trumpet. On 09.04.2021, as he played his trumpet on the promenade in Montreux, I quickly sketched this drawing.
